The Final Handoff

New Pool Delivery

You built it. We help deliver it. Pool Pro Florida provides the pool-service support that helps move a completed project from construction into normal homeowner ownership with clear documentation, water care, and a professional handoff.

Protect the Finish

The last construction step becomes the homeowner's first impression

A homeowner does not experience a finished pool as a draw schedule, a gunite shell, or a plumbing rough-in. They experience the water, the equipment, the controls, and whether the completed pool feels ready to own.

New Pool Delivery gives builders a defined pool-service handoff after construction is substantially complete. The exact scope is agreed before service begins and can be paired with startup care, post-construction cleaning, Pool School, or ongoing weekly maintenance.

Why the Last 5% Matters

A small draw phase carries a big customer experience

The Florida Swimming Pool Association's Residential Pool Building Draw Schedule identifies "Plaster / Interior / Fill" as 5% of the total in its industry best-practices example for concrete in-ground residential pools and spas.

Pool Pro Florida uses that idea as a practical reminder: the final stage deserves focused attention because it is where construction becomes ownership. Our service is independent of FSPA and does not imply FSPA endorsement.

A Defined Delivery Scope

What Pool Pro can handle before turnover

Water Readiness

Test and document the water, make agreed maintenance-level adjustments, and identify conditions that need builder or finish-applicator attention.

Operational Review

Observe visible pump, filtration, circulation, sanitation, and control operation within the agreed pool-service scope and report concerns.

Turnover Documentation

Document readings, completed service, visible concerns, photos when required, and recommended next steps for the project contact.

Cleanup Follow-Up

Address manageable pool-service debris, baskets, brushing, vacuuming, and filtration needs when post-construction cleaning is included.

Pool School

Coordinate a homeowner orientation covering normal operation, basic care, equipment use, and what to expect after delivery.

Ongoing Care

When requested by the homeowner, transition the pool from builder delivery into normal weekly service without a gap in routine care.

Simple Coordination

Give us the handoff date and project requirements

  • Project address and builder contact
  • Expected completion, fill, or turnover date
  • Pool size, finish type, and installed equipment
  • Startup or finish-care requirements when applicable
  • Current project photos
  • Site access instructions
  • Homeowner contact if Pool School is included
  • Required reporting and invoicing details

Clear Responsibilities

Delivery support does not replace construction or warranty work

Pool Pro Florida provides pool-service support. We do not certify construction completion, electrical or gas installation, code compliance, structural work, surface workmanship, leak repair, or manufacturer warranty compliance.

When we observe a visible finish, plumbing, equipment, or construction concern, we document it and notify the project contact so the responsible builder, trade, installer, manufacturer, or warranty provider can address it.

New Pool Delivery Questions

What builders usually want to know

Is New Pool Delivery the same as startup service?

No. Startup care is the controlled service period for a new or resurfaced finish. New Pool Delivery is the broader handoff between construction and normal ownership. A project may use one service or both.

Can Pool School be included?

Yes. Pool School can be included with delivery or scheduled as a separate homeowner orientation.

Can you take over weekly service after delivery?

Yes, when the homeowner requests ongoing service and the address fits our active service area and route availability.

Do you sign off on the builder's construction?

No. Our documentation covers the pool-service work and visible observations within our scope. Construction completion, code, installation, and warranty sign-off remain with the responsible licensed parties.
